Services

Feeding, speech, and communication

Specialized services include paediatric feeding and swallowing, AAC, paediatric dysarthria, and childhood apraxia of speech. We also support autistic children with a neuroaffirming approach.

Feeding

Pediatric feeding disorder is when a child’s feeding skills are not keeping up with their age, and they take in less food because of it. A first feeding visit is a bedside swallow exam.

Speech

Different speech sound disorders need different treatment. We assess first, then use approaches such as Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing for childhood apraxia of speech.

Motor speech

AAC

Augmentative and alternative communication is for anyone who cannot share all of their thoughts and needs with speech alone. AAC works with speech. It does not replace it.

AAC services

Autism

Comfort and a sense of security come first. We follow the child’s lead, use total communication, and keep mealtimes responsive rather than pressured.

Working with your team

We collaborate with families, physicians, occupational therapists, and school teams. If your child has had a swallow study, send the report before the first session.
